Level I

Level I was designed to measure technology skills of educators according to the State of Connecticut’s Teacher Technology Standards. Level I competencies include basic computer skills involving use of a computer operating system, typical productivity software, such as Microsoft Office, and the use of the Internet. The initial skills for each of the four competency strands are identified and measured on the Level I Assessment. To successfully complete Level I, an average score of 75% across the four strands is required.
